Diseases of the soul
It is well known that the toughest battel you ever fight in your life is the battle againset the self
In this battle the injuries you attain need to be treated immediately, otherwise they will be treated via the flames of hell.
These injuries, or in the other words known as the Seven Deadly Sins are;
Lust
Gluttony
Greed
Sloth
Wrath
Envy
Pride
I will be talking about Pride because it is the worst injury a human might suffer from.
So what is Pride?
Pride is self admiration which is the worship of the self, Pride is man's attitude of considering himself better than others and this attribute is one of the calamities called egotism and self-centeredness. When man exposes or expresses this feeling of imagining himself better than others it is called pride or haughtiness.
Sometimes this pride makes one stand up against Truth and never admits his mistakes. Unfortunately this figure is a lot seen around us those days.
The Holy Prophet peace be upon him says: One who has even an atom size pride in his heart will never enter Paradise. They asked: O Messenger of Allah: Some of us do desire to wear good clothes and perform good jobs. The Holy Prophet replied: In fact, Allah is beautiful and HE likes beauty and nicety but what is pride is to reject the truth and to consider others lower than ones self.
So guys we have to study and check our self constantly to see if we have this disease , and try to treat it and get it out of us quickly because you won’t only be hated by the people around you but by Allah and the Holy Prophet.
